Local artists Katie & PJ Grimm create their "Dragon Egg” with the use of industrial materials such as cement, plaster and recycled newspaper. The labor intensive process is contradicted by the light and deceptively simple form, but results in a subtlety of color on the exterior. They convey fragility but the stucture is made stabile through the processing of the materials. 

The Egg can be hung on a wall, grouped, used as votive holders or just stand alone art objects. The gilded interiors reflect ambient light and glow brilliantly. 
Available in two different size groupings and colors. The large measure approximately 5.5” in diameter (75.), and the small measure approximately 4” in diameter  (55.)

The interior colors are gold, copper, silver and speckled gold.
